Description

The IT Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the organizations workstations laptops and other network connected equipment. This position is also responsible for the proper management of software residing on systems. This position will work closely with the network and system administrators to support the organizations infrastructure as required to keep all systems functioning correctly. Some of the duties of the IT Manager will include installing configuring and upgrading workstations laptops and other computing devices to all networks setting up and maintaining all connected devices and infrastructure.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead the internal IT team ensuring timely support for hardware software connectivity and access issues across the organization.
  • Manage SLAs (service level agreements) incident response and escalation.
  • Implement and continuously optimize processes (incident change asset and configuration management).
  • Installs configures tests maintain monitors and troubleshoots end-user devices workstation hardware and networking hardware.
  • Partners with and provides support and training to staff and end-users on issues.
  • Works with end-users for identifying and delivering essential service levels.
  • Performs diagnosis analysis and resolution of complicated problems for various end users and implementing and recommending corrective solutions.
  • Develops and maintains an inventory of all organization IT devices.
  • Manages receives and responds to incoming IT issues.
  • Assists in maintaining preparing and upholding processes for reporting statistically monitoring and logging system performance.
  • Constructs tests and oversees customized configurations depending on various operating systems and platforms.
  • Conducts research on various products of systems in support of its development and procurement efforts.
  • Manages documentation of all instances of hardware repair installation failure and removal.
  • Evaluates and recommends hardware products and vendors for the organization.
  • Provides backup support as needed and performs the more basic functions of network administration when needed.
  • Provides backup system administration support as needed and performing the more basic functions of system administration when needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Requirements

Key Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of current and future practices terminology and principles of information technology.
  • System hardware and software management.
  • Local and cloud networking principles and operations.
  • Organizational procedures in tracking and maintaining a large number of assets.
  • Confidentiality rules related to the operation of county functions and network information.
  • Customer service practices that are required to meet and exceed end-user expectations.
  • In-depth experience with the management of: Microsoft 365 Azure Defender Entra Intune and Purview preferred.
  • Experience with BIM industry software: Autodesk Construction Cloud AutoCAD and Revit Bluebeam Chaos Enscape Trimble SketchUp and Epic Twinmotion) preferred.
  • Experience with Cisco Meraki and Umbrella Crowdstrike Falcon and Okta preferred.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree with 5 years of IT experience.
  • A demonstrated ability to solve the most complex systems support issues.
  • Course work in computers and information systems may be substituted for experience.
  • College business school or specialized training is preferable.
  • Any satisfactory equivalent combination of experience and training which ensures the ability to perform the work will be considered.
  • An ability to secure and maintain a drivers license valid in the state of Texas or Oklahoma or an acceptable alternative means of transportation is required.
  • Previous experience working in an Architectural environment preferred

$102000.00 - $114432.00
