Job Description
Our client is a family owned business who are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist in the daily operations of their projects.
This role is ideal for someone currently studying in the civil industry or semi-retired professional looking to stay engaged in the field. As the 2IC you will support site management ensure projects are running smoothly and help maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Docket management &record-keeping
- Conducting site visits &inspections
- Assisting with health & safety compliance
- Measuring and documenting claimable work
- Supervising small teams &job coordination
- Helping with job scheduling & workforce tracking
Ideal Candidate:
- Background in civil construction (experience or education)
- Strong organisation skills &attention to detail
- Ability to work independently &visit sites as needed
- Basic understanding of construction health & safety
- Good communication skills & teamwork
Pay Rate: $25 - $28 per hour (negotiable)
Hours: Flexible hours between 20 - 30 hours per week.
