Could you be the next Retrofit Project Manager based in Melbourne on an 18month fixed term contrct that were looking for

Your future role:

you will be responsible for leading retrofit activities across trainsets ensuring that technical quality cost and delivery (QCD) commitments are met in alignment with project requirements. Youll coordinate cross-functional teams manage customer acceptance processes and ensure EHS compliance all while driving continuous improvement and knowledge sharing (REX) within the organization.

Well look to you for:

  • Lead and deliver major retrofits on our existing Train Sets and manage acceptance-relevant retrofits on our future Train Set.
  • Secure customer acceptance within agreed timelines and contractual requirements.
  • Define clear and exhaustive Train Acceptance Criteria and ensure handover quality.
  • Plan organize and oversee retrofit work execution while ensuring compliance with QCD commitments.
  • Coordinate with Engineering Validation Manufacturing Supply Chain and Quality teams to ensure train testability and non-conformity closure.
  • Develop strategies for seamless Test & Commissioning (T&C) completion after retrofit activities.

All about you:

  • Relevant experience in a manufacturing or maintenance environment.
  • Strong project management and team leadership skills including planning cost and operational management.
  • Proven customer management experience with the ability to build trust and drive results.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes ideally within the railway industry.
