About the job

This position is based in The Hague Netherlands. You will join the NATO Infrastructure Services Centre (NISC) which is accountable for planning and executing the full lifecycle management activities (design transition and operations) for the identified area of responsibility. NISC provides generic domain independent technical functionality that enables and facilitates the operation and use of Information Technology resources.

About you

The valuable experience you will bring to your new role will include:

• A minimum requirement of a Bachelors degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 3 years post-related experience.
• Or exceptionally the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidates particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCI Agency that is at least 10 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post.
• 3 years as a senior engineer or technical lead in enterprise or deployable environments (on-prem cloud or hybrid).
• Proven expertise in designing implementing and managing infrastructure across servers storage data centres and cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience with resilient services (virtualisation containers backup/recovery) cross-domain security (DLP proxies guards) IAM (SSO federation ABAC) and hybrid/multi-cloud operations.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and infrastructure maintenance know-how.
• Solid knowledge in at least 4 of the following: automation/orchestration federation/interoperability core services strategy data-centric security Zero Trust LAN/WAN (TCP/IP) PKI.
• Knowledge of English both written and spoken is essential.
