Job Description
The AVP Channels and Alliances - APAC is a driving force in the establishment growth and management of strategic partner relationships for Workiva. This leader will guide a team of Alliance and Partner Sales professionals responsible for managing Regional Consulting and Global Integration Partners and their channel strategies. Youll leverage your extensive industry experience to optimise the APAC Channel and Alliance Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy drive net-new growth and identify new partnership opportunities. This role requires strong collaboration with Sales Leadership Account Executives Marketing Product Customer Success and Sales Operations to ensure program success.
What Youll Do
Strategically lead a talented team of Alliance and Partner Sales professionals
Drive significant partner adoption by engaging strategically with high-level executives within partner organisations.
Lead and champion comprehensive cross-functional partnership programs in collaboration within Workivas GTM ecosystem
Deliver exceptional results consistently achieving and surpassing ambitious revenue goals and key metrics that drive significant mutual business growth for Workiva and our partners
Empower and cultivate a high-performing team -providing ongoing coaching development and strategic guidance
Foster a culture of excellence and maximise individual and collective impact
What Youll Need
Minimum Qualifications
12 years of related career experience in software Alliance leadership - gained from working inside a software vendor or within a Consulting organisation
8 years of direct people management experience - including leading Directors and Managers
Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field
Preferred Qualifications
Proven ability to develop and execute successfully on channel strategies across a diverse partner/alliance ecosystem
Demonstrated leadership in managing a large and diverse alliance organisation
Ability to foster a highly productive performance-based sales culture
Exceptional business acumen across core APAC markets
Proven ability to develop and execute a strategy involving multiple stakeholders
Extensive experience interacting cross-functionally in a matrix-oriented environment
Exceptional verbal written and interpersonal communication skills
Strategic mindset and ability to identify ways to successfully develop and execute a strategy
Ability to set goals with clear success measures
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple processes programs and procedures simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines
Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Travel Requirement & Working Conditions
Up to 35% travel across APAC for regular customer meetings and events
Reliable internet access required for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva office
