Your Impact as Newbuilding Project Manager

Were seeking a passionate and experienced overseas Newbuilding Project Manager to join our team in Jiangyin China. This exciting 3-years assignment offers you the chance to make your mark on delivering as series of container vessels while experiencing life in one of Chinas dynamic shipbuilding hubs.

Area China North is part of DNVs Maritime Region Greater China where approximately 170 talented professionals across 4 stations work together to deliver world-class ship classification and certification services.

As our Newbuilding Project Manager youll drive excellence through the entire project lifecycle. Youll be the face of DNV building relationships with shipyard teams and owners while coordinating expert teams to ensure world-class delivery.

• Lead end-to-end newbuilding projects from initial sales handover through successful completion
• Serve as the primary liaison between shipbuilders owners representatives and internal DNV teams

The Expertise Were Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring:

• Bachelors Degree or higher in Naval Architecture Marine Engineering Mechanical Engineering or experience as Chief Engineer
• Minimum 5 years of Newbuilding experience as Class Surveyor
• Understanding of class roles rules and systematics
• Experience as a Newbuilding Project Manager
• Advantageous to have experience with Magar container vessels and gas as fuel
• Fluent verbal and written command of English
