Job Description
You will lead and optimize manufacturing processes encompassing the design development implementation and continuous improvement of manufacturing and/or assembly operations to ensure efficiency quality safety and profitability.
- Identify and analyze areas of opportunity for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma and other analytical tools.
- Lead and participate in improvement projects implementing effective solutions to optimize workflow reduce variability and improve quality.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and correct recurring process problems.
- Collect analyze and interpret production data to identify trends bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Generate periodic reports on the performance of manufacturing processes including efficiency quality and cost metrics.
- Use statistical tools for data analysis and decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with safety quality and environmental standards in all manufacturing processes.
- You are a dynamic individual with a strong technical background and excellent leadership skills. You possess a good understanding of manufacturing processes materials and equipment and are proficient in using various engineering tools. You excel at problem-solving critical thinking and decision-making enabling to identify and implement innovative solutions. You have a strong focus on quality and efficiency and are committed to delivering exceptional results and contributing to the overall success of the organization
- A strong foundation in mechanical industrial or manufacturing engineering principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools for product design and analysis and the ability to identify analyze and resolve technical issues.
- Skill in collecting analyzing and interpreting data to inform decision-making.
- The ability to build strong relationships with team members peers and multi-functional teams.
- An attitude focused on identifying and implementing process improvements.
- A strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision.
- Bachelors degree in mechanical industrial or manufacturing engineering or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in a process engineering role.
- Proficiency in CAD software statistical analysis tools and other relevant engineering software.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes quality control and lean manufacturing principles.
- Knowledge in reading product drawings.
- Proficiency in English/ Spanish both written and spoken
