You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailKent is seeking for an Information Manager to join our Engineering office based in Woking. The duration of the role is 16 months on a full time basis.
Scope of Work:
Engaged to provide specialist information management services on a major/complex FEED project focusing on implementing effective data controls flow and reporting to support the engineering team in achieving efficient successful delivery.
Key Deliverables:
Work with the project teams to define requirements for project identify data dependencies and relationships to develop logical and physical data models create data flow and system activity diagrams and write specifications for managing enterprise information.
Communicate and engage with the project team to develop an understanding of all of their reporting data and information needs.
Liaise with Information Technology to develop data collection and reports as directed by the project.
Develop plans and materials to support user adoption and training.
Support technical resources to ensure that all aspects of the information analysis and requirements gathering process are completed with a high degree of accuracy and quality.
Support ad hoc data requests and information requests.
Implement rollout plans for data reporting tools which involves training end users and helping secure the ongoing buy-in and use of the system.
Develop key documentation user guides and other training materials.
Perform a variety of clerical duties such as typing copying & compiling data maintaining & filing records and reports and handling paperwork.
Key Requirements:
Detailed knowledge of industry standard engineering tools (eg. AVEVA SmartPlant 3D) with in-depth knowledge with consolidation enterprise tools such foundation and ERM etc.
Capable of performing duties with no direct supervision and within agreed schedules and budgets.
Understands the project deliverables milestones and required tasks and targets through the project progress measurement system.
Capable of using initiative knowledge and experience to recognise highlight and address opportunities and threats as and when they emerge.
