Customer Programs Manager is the essential link between Customer Sales R&D Factory external partners and other related departments in the whole project phase from order to delivery. Customer Programs Manager manages multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously collaborating with intercontinental cross-functional teams and B2B customers. At BYD Project and Program management team consists of a team in Shenzhen and in Europe and UK.
Main Tasks and responsibilities:
- Programme management manage the relationship and communication with customers local partners local suppliers and test agencies;
- Visit customers in the DACH region and address the voices raised by customers and close the requests/complaints by customers;
- Ensure that market and customer requirements are properly understood by BYDs R&D team (this can include colleagues based in UK EU and China) and seek to resolve or report deviations from the defined technical requirements;
- Provide programs management update monitor progress of project actions and resolve critical issues;
- Identify any changes in project requirements or timing and ensure appropriate actions are assigned and communicated;
- Other related activities and contingent assignments;
- The role reports to the EU Customer Program Manager.
Ideal Candidate profile:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree technical background is preferred.
- Proven track record in the transport or automotive industry; 5-year experience is a must.
- Experience in cross-cultural management client management and conflict management strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
- Proactive and collaborative approach to problem solving.
- Strong leadership skills and creative thinking.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills ability to work under pressure.
- Good command of Germany and English is essential both written and verbal.
- Able to speak read and write in Chinese (Mandarin) is an advantage.
- Computer knowledge and proficiency including MS Office and MS Project.
- Able to travel on a regular basis to customers in Germany and occasional travel to BYD offices in EU BYD Hungary factory and China.
