Job Title: NP/PA - Oncology
Join a vibrant team at a 127-bed Level III Trauma facility located on the picturesque Southern Coast of Oregon! This full-time position offers the opportunity to be part of a growing Oncology service line at a hospital dedicated to serving a catchment area of over 320000 residents.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive outpatient and occasional inpatient oncology care.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team employing evidence-based practices.
- Perform clinical assessments diagnosis and management of oncology patients.
- Engage in shared paid call with a focus on teamwork.
- Support patient navigation through chemotherapy radiation therapy and clinical trials.
- Utilize advanced technology and software for patient management (e.g. EPIC).
- Ensure high standards of confidentiality and communication with healthcare staff and patients.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified NP or PA (required).
- Experience in Oncology preferred with training in subspecialties highly regarded.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Excellent clinical acumen interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
- Proficient use of clinical informatics and relevant software applications.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Oregon NP or PA license (or willingness to obtain).
- Clean malpractice history and background.
- Must have ties to Oregon (e.g. family in the area or prior residence).
- Copy of NPDB self-query report (required).
- AONCP certification (or in progress) for NP candidates.
