Main purpose of the role:
Our client is seeking a skilled consultant for a secondment focused on the internalisation of a REIT manager for a Singapore Exchange (SGX) listed Singapore domiciled Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT). The successful candidate will serve as the primary legal support for this project working closely with a core project team.
Provide comprehensive legal advice and support on matters related to the internalisation of the REIT manager.
Prepare and review SGX public announcements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Handle commercial and legal matters pertinent to the project ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Collaborate effectively with the project team and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
Attend meetings and provide on-site legal support as required.
Person specification:
Singapore qualified lawyer with minimum 6 years PQE.
Prior legal experience in Singapore REITs either in-house or in private practice. International REIT experience may also be considered.
Experience in handling complex legal projects and transactions.
Familiarity with the Singapore legal and regulatory landscape particularly in relation to REITs.
Demonstrated ability to provide strategic legal advice and support to senior management.
