Description -
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Payroll Analyst II to support our Payroll Operations team. This role is based in Guadalajara and requires a professional with a solid understanding of payroll processes strong skills in Excel and data analysis and fluency in both Spanish and English. The successful candidate will help ensure accurate and timely payroll processing collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Support end-to-end processing of payroll cycles including data validation payroll inputs and reconciliations.
Perform data analysis and reporting to support payroll accuracy trend identification and compliance.
Use Excel to manage large datasets perform calculations create pivot tables and generate reports.
Work closely with the payroll vendor HR finance and compliance teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure service-level agreements are met.
Assist in the implementation of process improvements and standard operating procedures.
Support audits by providing payroll data documentation and responding to inquiries.
Ensure compliance with local labor and tax regulations as well as internal policies.
Respond to employee queries related to payroll in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or a related field.
23 years of experience in payroll processing preferably with exposure to LATAM countries including: Argentina Chile Colombia Costa Rica Panama and/or Peru. Experience with Colombia Chile and/or Peru is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables VLOOKUP formulas charts etc.).
Experience with payroll systems (e.g. SAP ADP Workday) is a plus. Experience with ADP Streamline is especially preferred.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Fluent in English (written and verbal); Spanish proficiency required.
Ability to work independently prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
