About the Role
We are seeking Journeyman Millwrights to join our team for an outage project near Anzac AB. This is a Day Shift only position. Camp accommodations are provided. LOA and Camp bonus!
Schedule & Work Hours
- September 3 September 8
- 12-hour Day Shifts
PPE & Safety Requirements
- Must be clean-shaven (for respirator use)
OCL Provided PPE:
- Coveralls safety glasses hard hat gloves
- Specialty PPE (respirators etc.)
Employee Provided PPE:
- CSA-approved work boots
- FR-rated clothing with high-visibility stripes (if not wearing OCL-supplied coveralls)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Installing side travel wheels on the tripper car
- Replacing a head pulley on CR-144
- Dismantling and inspecting our Boiler combustion blower
- Install align maintain and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Read and interpret technical drawings blueprints and specifications.
- Perform precision layout assembly and adjustments.
- Work effectively with other trades and team members to meet project timelines.
- Identify hazards and comply with all company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a clean safe and organized work area.
Education/Skills/Experience
- Journeyman Millwright certification (Red Seal preferred).
- Previous experience in industrial construction or live plant environments is an asset.
- Strong troubleshooting problem-solving and mechanical skills.
All Applicants Must Have:
- Valid H2S Alive certification
- AWP
- Fall Protection
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Valid drivers license with clean abstract
- Ability to work legally in Canada
