Job Title:Call Center Agent
Pay Rate:$18.00/hr ($19.80/hr for bilingual candidates)
Additional Pay: Eligible for Activity-Based Compensation (ABC) after 8 weeks
Employment Type: Full-Time
Training & Schedule
- Training Hours:Monday - Friday 10:30 AM - 5:00 PM for 2 weeks (training may last up to 6 weeks with the option of an additional 2 weeks if needed).
- Regular Schedule (after training):
- Monday - Thursday:8:00 AM - 8:00 PM CST
- Friday:8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST
- Saturday:9:00 AM - 12:00 PM CST (one Saturday per month)
About the Role
We are seeking motivated and customer-focused Call Center Agents to join our team. You will serve as the first point of contact for callers handling routine inquiries and providing excellent customer service by following standard scripts and procedures. This position is ideal for individuals who are problem solvers strong communicators and enjoy working in a fast-paced call center environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound calls using established scripts and procedures.
- Gather and verify information from callers to resolve inquiries accurately.
- Provide appropriate solutions and escalate complex or non-routine issues to senior representatives.
- Participate in team meetings contributing ideas to improve processes and efficiency.
- Assist with training and supporting newly hired staff as needed.
- Maintain professionalism accuracy and timeliness in all customer interactions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education:High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience:Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience required.
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Consistent time and attendance record.
- Proficient in PC use software applications and keyboarding.
- Ability to follow guidelines and standard operating procedures.
- Positive professional and team-oriented demeanor.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
