Job Title: Environmental Service Associate Reports to: Director of Public Safety Department: Public Safety Compensation: $16$18 per hour (commensurate with experience) Schedule: Monday Friday 9:00am 5:00pm
Essential Functions: The Environmental Service Associate is a year-round position that plays an important role in supporting the daily operations of the residential collaboration with Public Safety and other staff the Environmental Service Associate helps maintain a safe clean and supportive environment for our students. Responsibilities include:
Performing laundry duties as scheduled.
Locking and unlocking student bedrooms according to safety protocols.
Conducting regular checks of bedrooms for unsanitary conditions and reporting issues promptly.
Documenting and tracking inspections and daily tasks using computer-based systems.
Assisting with other duties as assigned by supervisors to support residential operations.
Working collaboratively with Public Safety Managers faculty and clinicians to ensure a supportive safe environment for students.

High school diploma/GED or equivalent required.
Previous experience in residential custodial or facilities support preferred.
1 year of work experience in a role requiring reliability attention to detail and accountability preferred.
Basic computer skills required (for documentation reporting and communication).

Ability to complete routine tasks independently and accurately.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to use discretion and follow safety/security protocols.
Ability to work in a fast-paced residential setting.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements/Demands: The workday regularly involves standing walking bending and moving throughout residential areas. Duties may include climbing stairs (building has 6 floors) walking across campus and occasional lifting/moving of boxes or laundry bins up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment: This position is primarily based in the residential setting within Shrub Oaks 127-acre campus. The environment will involve both indoor and outdoor spaces with daily interaction with residential staff and students.
