Our client is a global packaging manufacturer.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing all invoices for proper documentation and approval before processing payments ensuring adherence to payment terms.
- Matching purchase orders with invoices charging expenses to accounts and cost centres by analyzing invoices and expense reports and recording entries.
- Reconciling vendor statements by identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintaining accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions accurately.
- Ensuring thorough and accurate filing and documentation in line with company policy and standard accounting practices.
- Assisting with month-end closing processes and external audits as required.
- Supporting other finance-related duties and projects as assigned.
- Recommending improvements to policies and procedures aiding in their implementation to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- 23 years of experience in accounts receivable preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in English (good to fair).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
