PRTR is now working with a Management Consulting client to get SAP Functional or Implementation to join the team for a big project implementation in the Year 2025.

The ideal candidate should have a background of SAP full project implementation/ Good knowledge of process in IS for HR and Finance. Fluent English is required.

Job Description

You will join a team of 6 engineers/technicians within the IT Asia Pacific BU of the company by reporting to the IT manager of this BU you will contribute through your missions and in perfect coordination with the application roadmap and with the Global IT teams to the improvement and maintenance in operational condition of the Finance IS and the HR IS. Within our Finance/HR IS you will find market-leading solutions such as:

  • SAP
  • Talend
  • Snowflake
  • Salesforce
  • Power BI
  • SAP SuccessFactors
As part of our roadmap teams work on structuring projects:
  • Dematerialization of processes
  • Decommissioning of ERPs at the end of their life
  • Mergers/integration of companies

Your main activity will consist of carrying out IT project management. You will also have as a secondary activity the realization of tasks related to applications MCO: Technical and functional support of the applications of the Finance IS and the HR IS developments/adaptations etc.

The details are specified below.

Main activities
  • Handling Project framing.
  • Aiming for the objectives to be achieved.
  • Approaching and feasibility of the project.
  • Handling project governance to be set up (Committee RACI).
  • Handling internal and external resources to be mobilized (Committee RACI).
  • Creating a budget (BCase: Expected costs and gains) and the forecast schedule.
  • Ensuring deliverables to be produced.
  • Being the key indicators for measuring the performance of project progress (KPI).
  • Handling potential risks during the project and the means to manage them.
  • Handling the adhesions with other projects.
  • Handling Project management throughout the cycle.
  • Initializing Planning Execution Control Closure.
  • Coordinating with the business project managers and application managers (Finance & HR) prepare and lead the various comitology supports.
  • Managing human resources (including contractual) software infrastructure and techniques.
  • Providing expertise methodology and advice for the smooth running of projects.
  • Monitoring expenses budget and forecast.
  • Monitoring progress and limiting project deviations from the Cost/Quality/Deadline angles.
  • Ultimately monitoring the achievement of the targeted objectives and establishing feedback from the projects in a logic of continuous improvement.
  • Preparing the transition to the teams in charge of the application RUN and functional and technical support (Internal external).
Secondary activities
  • Monitoring recording and processing of user requests and incidents through our ITSM application.
  • Application change management (Evolution/bugs/Adaptation).
  • Contribution to improving the technical and functional knowledge base of our Finance & HR applications.
  • User assistance on applications in the Finance & HR IS scope.
  • Monitoring and alerting of applications and flows/interfaces. Diagnosis and relaunch of processing/flows/interfaces when necessary.
  • Contribution to improving support in terms of processes/organization/tools.
  • Contribution to keeping the application/business map up to date (Urbanization).
  • Contribution to compliance with regulatory constraints (e.g. GDPR) and the security of the companys IS.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in the IT field including experience in team management.
  • Methodology: Know how to manage projects (100k$ to 500k$) in agile mode or in a V-cycle with a cost/quality/deadline approach.
  • Databases: having the mastery of SQL Server is required (stored procedures functions SQL queries basic administration).
  • An experience with Snowflake and/or Talend is a plus.
  • Data: Be comfortable with understanding relational or business intelligence-oriented data model concepts.
  • (CDM PDM DataWare House Data Lake etc.).
  • Development languages: Knowledge of ABAP is a plus but not a prerequisite.
  • Other technologies: dot net javascript angular etc.
  • Experience as a developer is desirable to help analyze technical achievements (reading code debugging etc.).
  • Having experience in Finance & HR Applications is required.
