Job Description

The Role:

An SAP HR and Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing HR and payroll processes using SAP software. This role involves configuring implementing and maintaining SAP HR modules ensuring data accuracy and supporting payroll processing. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulations troubleshooting system issues and collaborating with various teams to integrate SAP with other HR systems. The role will involve a combination of supporting BAU support activities as well as contributing to various projects

Skills and Experience Required:

A high level of skills experience and knowledge with demonstrated functional/configuration experience in SAP HR/HCM/Payroll modules

Strong analytical configuration and troubleshooting skills

Test the HR /Performance / LMS/Payroll and capability modules. Investigate and resolve defects where identified.

Experience in SuccessFactors is highly desired

Provide configuration solutions where possible and work with other team members to build more complex solutions as required.

Proven ability to actively identify and improve SAP solutions processes and functionality

Work with business to model processes and procedures and define business requirements in an easy to read manner.

Analyse requirements and provide advice on potential system solutions.

Raise SAP notes and messages as required.

Perform knowledge transfer to permanent staff.

The worker will participate in knowledge/skills transfer activities as part of this engagement

Location and Contract Term: This role is based in ACT. 12 month contract with 2 x 12-month extension options pending budget and delegate approval.

Security Requirements: Applicants must be Australian Citizens. A Baseline security clearance is required for this role or the ability to obtain is required.
