MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
Develop and implement a subsidiary/global line of business sales and marketing strategy that will improve the organizations competitive position.
Please note that associated organization type should be Subsidiary or when global in scope Multi-Profit Centre or Division.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Leaddirectandcontrolallsalesandmarketingfunctionssoactivitiesmeettheorganizationsbusinessobjectivescomplywithregulationsandprotecttheorganizationsreputation.
Activitiesmayinclude:marketresearchforecastingpricingmarketingcampaignsbusinessdevelopmentactivitiescustomerserviceinvoicingandpaymentadministration.
Negotiatetermsofsaleswithmajorclientstomaximizetheorganizationsinterests.
Establishtargetsinareassuchasproductmixsalesvolumemarketorbusinessdevelopment.
Monitorperformanceoftheorganizationagainstthesegoals.
Liaisewithotherseniorexecutivesacrosstheorganizationtoensurestrategiesareintegratedwiththerestofthebusinessandalignwithcorporateobjectives.
Selectandmanagerelationshipswithconsultantsandagenciestoensuresatisfactorystandardsofservice.
Leaddirectevaluateanddevelopateamofsalesandmarketingmanagers.
Desired Experience:
The focus is on APAC region with 80% of efforts concentrated on China. Hence China market experience is a must
Business Development experience in Pharma companies is a must with strong knowledge about Pharma landscape in China
Must have experience of dealing with investment bankers and CXO level
Private equity company experience can also be considered
Chinese language fluency is mandatory especially Mandarin.
