Technical Software Lead

Avanceon is seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Team Lead to drive the development of cutting-edge software solutions in the Industrial Automation domain.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep technical expertise a passion for innovation and the ability to guide teams using modern development practicesincluding AI-powered toolsto boost productivity streamline processes and foster continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. AI-Driven Development:

• Leverage AI tools such as GitHub Copilot ChatGPT and similar technologies to accelerate coding testing and documentation processes.

• Champion the adoption of AI in development workflows to solve complex problems and enhance team efficiency and skill sets.

2. Project Leadership:

• Lead and manage the complete software development lifecycle from concept to deployment.

• Coordinate cross-functional remote and on-site teams to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.

• Align technical strategy with business objectives to maximize impact and innovation.

3. Software Development:

• Architect and develop robust backend systems using C# .NET Python and SQL Server.

• Design responsive and scalable front-end applications using modern frameworks such as ReactJS Angular Tailwind HTML and CSS.

• Write clean maintainable code and ensure high test coverage through unit testing and code reviews.

4. System Integration:

• Develop secure and scalable REST/SOAP APIs incorporating AI-assisted monitoring and diagnostics.

• Integrate seamlessly with SCADA systems PLCs and third-party industrial platforms to enable real-time connectivity and data flow.

5. Data & Business Intelligence:

• Design and develop insightful reports and dashboards using Power BI Tableau and Excel.

• Perform in-depth data analysis to support decision-making and performance optimization.

• Build and maintain ETL pipelines using SSIS and work across various database environments including SQL Server Oracle and PostgreSQL.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10 years of hands-on software development experience with at least 3 years in a team leadership role.

• Proficient in C# .NET Python SQL and modern JavaScript UI frameworks.

• Demonstrated experience managing remote teams and delivering enterprise-grade applications using Agile methodologies.

• Strong familiarity with AI/ML tools business intelligence platforms and industrial automation technologies such as SCADA and PLC.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Software Engineering Computer Science or a related field.

• Direct experience using AI-enhanced development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot ChatGPT or equivalents) in a professional setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to AI/ML frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow PyTorch) cloud-based AI services (e.g. Azure AI AWS SageMaker) or data science platforms.
