JOB DUTIES:
- Scope and plan complex technical projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Design and develop high quality products which are commercially successful.
- Write clean testable maintainable and efficient code - expect to spend 7080% of your time coding.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers across teams.
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and tooling.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Act as the primary technical owner and subject matter expert for a core product or platform area.
- Help ensure the health and safety of all our people and all parties at all times.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- 5 years of software development experience
- Extensive programming background with 3 years of object-oriented programming experience using C/C
- Embedded product development experience
- Experience with an embedded build system either Buildroot or Yocto
- Exceptional verbal written and interpersonal communication skills

- Continuous integration tools (Jenkins Github Actions) experience
- Unit testing and automated testing tools experience
- Understanding past failures with building ideal software and product architecture and sharing lessons learned
