Key Accountabilities:
- Provide robust solution for a new manufacturing line and individual automatic machine.
- Manage the new machines full life cycle from Concept design machine Functional Specification Statement of Work Acceptance Test and the upgrade/modification as well.
- Develop and update working instructions to standardize the work and safe use of equipment having the process under full control.
- Develop PPAP documents and dynamically maintain it including PFMEA CP PFC. Make sure all these are reviewed understood and approved.
- Use IE tools to create new process and find the opportunities if existing process to improve the line efficiency and line speed balance.
- Lead the manufacturing process change with product/process change until physical completed.
- Train operator for any new released product and process and assess the training effect until qualified.
- Hands-on manner to set and optimize the machine parameters and recipes.
- Daily managing production line issues related to equipment and process provide solutions.
- Develop and maintain the product bill of material (BOM).
- Support maintenance team to create/update TPM/DPM for the machine.
- Lead validation sample build according to project plan. And lead the sample review and report before shipped out for performance test.
- Leverage global resources and cross-functional resources for product launch problem solving trouble shooting.
- Drive Cost reduction initiatives including manufacturing scrap reduction productivity improvement and VAVE Work with product engineering team to hit plant monthly/yearly target.
- Support to analyze the source of production scrap and provide solutions.
- Other responsibilities assigned by Engineering manager.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
Education Qualification:
- Bachelors degree in a Mechanical Engineering is required.
Technical Competence & Skills:
- Ability to use AutoCAD is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools is
- A thorough understanding of quality tools such as PFMEAs Control Plans Process Flow chart is required
- Abilities to use IE tools like error-proof VSM MTM is required.
- Lean manufacturing knowledge is preferred.
- Proficiency with common project management tools (e.g. MS Project or equivalent) is preferred.

- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Good team-work player
- Strong sense of responsibility and work with closed-loop and PDCA approach
Relevant Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Experience in Liquid filter manufacturing processes is preferred.
- Previous project management responsibility with demonstrated results is preferred.
- IATF16949 work experience is Preferred.
- Excellent manufacturing efficiency improvement achievements in past work experience is preferred.
- Proficient in IE aspect analysis and action plan and implementation
- Problem solving skill is preferred.
Others (% of travel language etc.):
- Fluent in English communication
- 5% travel time
- Can work with time flexibility to meet project needs.
