Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Chemical EngineerTraineeto join ourTechnology Center team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in developing innovative chemical processes products and technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in chemical engineering principles and a passion for innovation and continuous learning.
What Youll be doing:
Assist in the design development and optimization of chemical processes and formulations.
Conduct laboratory-scale experiments and pilot-scale trials under supervision.
Analyze data interpret results and prepare technical reports and presentations.
Support the scale-up of new processes.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering Maintenance and Procurement.
Stay up-to-date with advancements in chemical engineering and materials science.
Maintain accurate and organized records of experimental work in lab notebooks and digital formats.
Ensure compliance with all safety health and environmental regulations.
Requirements
What Youll Bring:
Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
Strong understanding of core chemical engineering principles (e.g thermodynamics fluid mechanics equipment design process mass and energy balance).
Basic laboratory skills and familiarity with standard chemical engineering equipment.
Good analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic R&D environment.
Fluency in English and Portuguese is required.
As a plus:
- Experience with simulation tools (e.g. ASPEN OLI SysCAD).
- Internship or project experience in R&D or process development.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g. REACH.
