Were Hiring: Solar Engineering Professionals
Location: Alabang or BGC - Hybrid 3 days RTO and 2 days WFH Full-time Late Morning Shift (10am to 7pm)
Join a global leader in renewable energy and be part of a team driving solar innovation and sustainability worldwide. Were expanding our engineering team and currently hiring for the following three roles:
1. Performance and Operations Engineer
You will support the global asset performance of solar PV systems by monitoring analyzing and optimizing operational activities. This role ensures each system runs efficiently and delivers expected results.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor performance against KPIs and budgets
Conduct remote analysis and recommend improvements
Coordinate with O&M teams for issue resolution and site interventions
Support customer invoicing and report generation
Track claims warranties and contractor documentation
Ideal Profile:
Engineering degree (Electrical Mechanical Civil or related)
3 to 4 years of experience in solar O&M or asset performance
Knowledge of PVsyst monitoring systems or CMMS is a plus
Strong problem-solving analytical and communication skills
2. Solar Design Engineer
As part of our Global Solar Design Center you will design solar energy systems for commercial and industrial sites around the world. This includes layout planning electrical design performance simulation and cost estimation.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform array layout PV inverter sizing yield simulation shading analysis and BOM preparation
Collaborate with Sales Solutions Engineers and Project Managers globally
Conduct peer reviews and quality checks of design outputs
Contribute to continuous improvement and documentation of design standards
Ensure compliance with safety quality and environmental regulations
Ideal Profile:
Engineering degree (Electrical Mechanical Civil Architecture or Solar)
3 to 4 years of design experience with at least 2 years in solar PV
Proficient in AutoCAD; familiarity with PVSyst or Helioscope is a plus
Strong design judgment coordination and productivity mindset
3. Subject Matter Expert (SME) Electrical Design
This senior-level role provides advanced electrical design expertise for PV and battery systems. You will support both technical execution and mentorship within the Design Center ensuring top-tier quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce single-line diagrams three-line diagrams wire schedules and full electrical documentation for MV/HV PV systems
Define key system components and grid interconnections
Act as technical lead for escalations during commercial and execution phases
Conduct quality reviews training and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain standards documentation and templates for the Electrical Design team
Ideal Profile:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
10 or more years of experience in electrical design including PV and medium/high voltage systems
Strong knowledge of electrical codes and utility regulations across multiple countries
Skilled in stakeholder engagement value engineering and mentoring
