Job Description
BS in STEM area preferably in Information Systems or Computer Science may be coupled with certifications to include CCNA JNCIA industry experience or 2 years IT systems or relevant experience.
2 years of experience in one or more of the following technical domains: Compute (Server and virtual machines. Wintel/*nix) Networking (Fundamentals - Cisco CCNA or equivalent) Scripting (automation).
2 years of experience as a network engineer and deployments for large-scale networks in a corporate environment with hands on experience with physical infrastructure installations including hardware integration racking and cabling
Key job responsibilities
The positions responsibilities involve installation configuring monitoring and resolving of issues with infrastructure hardware configuration and network connectivity in Amazon corporate offices around the world.
These activities include the following:
Installation and troubleshooting of infrastructure hardware software and connectivity
Ability to travel within geographical work area is required.
Ability to work in a 24/7 environment
Communicate with technical and non-technical staff
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
Display a commitment to quality and strong multi-tasking skills
Work closely with both internal customers and external vendors to maintain infrastructure health

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $55900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $125100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
