The Senior Financial Analyst would be responsible for utilizing general finance expertise to provide analysis accounting and recommendations to the Finance leadership team. The incumbent is responsible for the collection preparation and interpretation of accounting financial data and other performance metrics related to key aspects of business operations. Developing a thorough understanding of this information is critical.
Position Responsibilities:
Produce standard monthly and quarterly financial reports according to the close schedule. Ensure thatthe quality and accuracy of data reconciliations and journal entries are completed as required.
Identify and recommend best practices process and controls. Demonstrate commitment toward continuously updating knowledge and skills.
Actively participate on project teams to ensure tasks meet requirements and deadlines.
Foster a work as one culture by developing strong relationships with Divisional Expense teams and other teams that we work with on a regular basis.
Responsible for identifying and implementing continuous financial process improvements that positively impact the timeliness and integrity of financial reporting and data.
Quickly understand the tasks assigned and achieves results within assigned deadlines. Prioritizes deliverables in support of team goals with guidance.
Demonstrates commitment towards continuously updating knowledge and skills while incorporating feedback.
Must be able to provide relevant analysis with commentaries and hold discussions with various customers.
Required Qualifications:
University degree in accounting finance or business management and or recognized accounting designation (CPA CMA CGA or CA is a plus).
Knowledge of Essbase Cubes and Lawson is an asset
Willing to work on night shift

Self-starter with the ability to work independently using sound independent judgment problem solving and analytical skills

Results-oriented can work under tight timelines and manage competing priorities
