About the team and the role:
eBay is looking for an iOS Engineer who is passionate about crafting apps consumers love. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a world leader in mobile commerce and directly impact the lives of a global population while growing the revenue of eBay exponentially.
What you will accomplish:
Develop and enhance Android applications that improve the seller experience on eBay leveraging Kotlin and modern Android technologies.
Collaborate closely with business teams to identify innovative features and interface improvements.
Drive high-quality standards in code and project execution contributing to the teams overall technical perfection.
Engage in cross-functional team collaborations across eBay to build integrated and scalable solutions.
Play a role in mentoring peers and setting new benchmarks for software quality and development practices.
Participate actively in team decisions regarding system design and architecture navigating project ambiguities.
What you will bring:
8 years of experience in Android development with extensive experience in Kotlin Android Studio Dagger and Jetpack Compose.
Strong understanding of mobile application design and UX patterns particularly for Android.
Experience in working with revision control systems (e.g. Git) and bug tracking tools (e.g. Jira).
Ability to build and maintain commercial-quality Android applications.
Excellent communication skills for effective remote collaboration across dispersed teams.
At least 6 years of software development experience with substantial exposure to Agile practices and delivery methods.
