The Opportunity
This position works out of our Westfield IN location in the Structural Heart Division. Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of structural heart disease.
Responsible for the coordination implementation and execution of training systems; including the development and innovation of training programs to support manufacturing and peripheral groups. Coordinates the ongoing and recurring system training of manufacturing training assistants. Implements and maintains training system controls for manufacturing.
What Youll Work On
- Develops and implements Training systems by identifying basic training needs researching training options and recommending most effective methods.
- Maintains and enhances Quality systems by identifying isolating and resolving problems with existing processes using customer feedback and automated systems.
- Communicates certification and training needs by reporting gaps in manufacturing personnel training and knowledge.
- Recommends solutions to close the gaps.
- Introduces Training system upgrades by identifying and implementing more efficient technology and methods to facilitate training across the company.
- Works on/with Global efforts.
- Supports business processes outside of Manufacturing by promoting consistency between systems and offering innovative solutions to outside process issues.
- Troubleshoot automated systems by identifying & researching the problem making changes to the system or contacting the appropriate group to initiate a change.
- Plans and organizes project assignments of substantial variety and complexity.
- Initiates or maintains schedule for projects and project milestones.
- Establishes priorities of project assignments.
- Solves complex problems requiring extensive interpretation of procedures and practices to provide leadership in evolving projects.
- Selects methods and practices to solve problems using ingenuity creativity and a high degree of independent action and initiative.
- Proposes solutions independently; makes decisions on projects.
- Develops and implements projects from concept to completion.
Pay and Shift
This position is for second shift and includes a $1.50 shift differential.
Monday - Friday 3:00 pm 11:30 pm
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 3-5 years of related work experience.
- Applies extensive knowledge of business concepts procedures and practices and a complete understanding of fundamentals in a functional area and working knowledge of other related disciplines.
- Utilizes/interprets advanced data to present documentation and analysis and resolve complex problems. Will perform this job in a quality system environment.
- Failure to adequately perform tasks can result in noncompliance with governmental regulations.
- Performs extremely complex or specialized assignments usually in the nature of projects requiring working independently.
- May design develop or modify area-specific processes or procedures.
- Assignments require considerable judgment high degree of initiative creative approaches in troubleshooting and making recommendations for continuous quality improvement of work methods for functional area.
- Proficient in MS Excel Word PowerPoint Access SharePoint.
- Tech-savvy with experience in facilitating training programs is advantageous.
- Strong service orientation.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associated Degree or some college credits preferred.
- LMS System Experience.
The base pay for this position is
$17.00 $34.00/hour
In specific locations the pay range may vary from the range posted.
