The New Zealand Police Information and Communication Technology section is seeking to appoint an experience ICT Business Analyst within the IMT (Investigation Management Tool) team based at the Royal New Zealand Police College Porirua.
This position sits within an ICT team which plays a critical role in capturing understanding and analysing business requirements for a core application as well as providing support. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather and document requirements and contribute to solution design and creation of technical documentation around how our system work. Some experience in UML use case development is preferred. You will be adept at identifying opportunities for improvement and translating them into clear user stories and requirements. You will work in an Agile environment where you will work closely with the product team to deliver fit for purpose solution that add value and support end user business processes.

You will be an experienced ICT Business Analyst working with complex ICT applications. You will have a natural ability when it comes to learning new systems and a collaborative approach in regard to your working style. You will have experience in use of UML use cases and also working within agile environments / agile product delivery teams. You have natural focus on ensuring delivery of value to the end users while at the same time ensuring mitigation of risks and quality are maintained. You will have some knowledge of Jira Confluence and Subversion.
