Job Description
JOB TITLE: Settlement Dispute Resolution & Reconciliation Analyst
JOB LOCATION:Lagos
ADVERTISEMENT
JOB DETAILS:
- Process daily settlements ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Analyze transaction data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Research and investigate customer disputes gathering necessary information and providing timely resolutions.
- Maintain clear and concise records of all settlements disputes and reconciliations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline settlements dispute resolution and reconciliation functions.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams (e.g. Risk Management Customer Support) to ensure efficient resolution of complex issues.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a settlement dispute resolution or reconciliation role within the financial services industry (fintech or banking experience a plus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a must).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
