The responsibilities & the impact YOU will have:
- Manage supplier communicationsincluding sourcing event invitations issue resolution pricing termsnegotiations and contracting
- Assess change needs impacts andstakeholder management activities and support change management integrationactivities
- Manage the purchase order processincluding selecting suppliers verifying budget alignment
- Perform supplier negotiations
- Execute sourcing events evaluateresults communicate with suppliers on quotes interface with contracting andenable updates in ERP systems
- Receive analyze and resolvesupplier inquiries disputes and payment discrepancies
- Perform one-off exception purchasesnegotiate final pricing terms and select suppliers based on singular demand
- Perform data analytics forecastdemand and identify baselines for purchasing that meet prioritized businessrequirements
- Prioritize and validate potentialstrategic options determine the benefits cases for these options and measurethe performance against established KPI benchmarks
Wed love to hear fromYOU if you have:
- A Bachelor degree is required witha preferred concentration in Business Finance Accounting LogisticsEngineering or related field
- A minimum of 1 year of procurementexperience is required
- Experience working in a sharedservice center is preferred
- Previous buying experience (highfrequency tactical buying) preferred
- Knowledge of Procurement processesis required
- Working knowledge of Procurementsystems (ERP SAP Ariba etc.)
- Demonstrated effectively workingremotely with business partners
