Job Description

As a Sr Manufacturing Tech I you are responsible for:

  • Maintaining a tidy and safe working area.

  • Working on manufacturing and packaging of Gilead products.

  • Working on routine assignments following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Master Batch Records and current Good

  • Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).

  • Working in conjunction with other Manufacturing Technicians under the guidance of a Team Leader and the Manufacturing Manager.

  • Performing specific unit tasks on reactors centrifuges and driers.

  • Cleaning (manually and CIP) and assembles equipment for production.

  • Cleaning manufacturing areas including walls ceilings and floors.

  • Complying with all established SOPs in performance of job. Adheres consistently to cGMPs.

  • Complying with all safety-related procedures and practices personally and in area.

  • Interacting with department members to ensure production proceeds as scheduled.

  • Receiving well defined instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new assignments.

  • Following written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Master Batch Records.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA / BS and 0 years of relevant experience; OR

  • AA and 2 years of relevant experience; OR

  • HS diploma and 3 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industrial experience

  • Demonstrated proficiency in duties of Manufacturing Tech II

  • Demonstrated proficiency in core competencies of Manufacturing Tech II
