Job Description

Job Summary:

Flowserve is seeking an intern to work in the Purchasing area to assist in the procurement of products services needed and collaborate with routine industry activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Supplier Research: assist in researching and identifying suppliers that can meet the companys needs. This includes the analysis of prices delivery times quality of products or services as well as evaluating the reputation and reliability of the suppliers.

  • Quotations and negotiations: assist in requesting and analyzing quotations from suppliers comparing prices and conditions addition it can help in the negotiation of contracts and commercial agreements seeking to obtain the best conditions for the company.

  • Support import and export areas.

  • Supplier diligence.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Be enrolled in at least the second year of college in 2025 preferably studying Production Engineering Business Administration or International Relations.

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and other software tools used in purchasing.

  • Intermediate knowledge of English

  • Verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.

  • Organization and attention to detail

  • Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to a dynamic environment.

  • Residence in the West Zone or near

  • Availability for work hours: 9 am to 3 pm Monday to Friday
