Our client is a business that provides warehouse management and shipping services to customers nationwide. It is a subsidiary of a logistics company based in the United States with branches around the world.
Summary
This position is responsible for the provision of logistics operational functions such as customer service trucking coordination and data centre activities. Assist the Operations Manager and the logistics coordinator in data centre operations such as Builds Decom Reverse Logistics Replenishment and order deliveries. Also involves guiding support teammates in executing data center operations. Also supports warehouse operations when required.
Responsibilities
- Executing data centre activities such as Builds Decom Reverse Logistics Replenishment ticket management order fulfilment & receiving/exporting.
- Guiding a team of temp/support staff during peaks of volumes / when required.
- Handling order processing preparing and maintaining reports and files for all operations records correspondence and plans.
- Supporting new site turn-ups - setting up pharmacy shelves drop zones and 5S.
- Assisting in the coordination and preparation of all necessary documentation for the movement of cargo.
- Performing tracking and tracing functions and assisting in the daily warehouse and administrative activities and communications.
- Liaising closely with external parties to ensure shipments are expedited smoothly.
- Corresponding and liaising with customers and attending to their enquiries.
- Handling any other ad-hoc/administrative duties.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in the Logistics industry.
- Experience working in a Data centre/IT/Hardware/Gadget/Device is preferred.
- Good working knowledge of logistics - receiving inventory export and transport coordination.
- Good working knowledge of data centre operations - builds decor reverse.
- Good Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Proficient in MS Word Excel Outlook etc.
- Able to use Forklift PPT and reach truck to support WH operations when needed.
- **Plans to move to Chonburi in 1.5 years.**
