Job Title:Fleet Support Engineer (Vehicle) BPLRT |
Purpose of the job: Manage / be part of the tasks execution within the Fleet Support Centre looking for the improvement of the reliability of the fleet its Total Cost of Ownership and ensuring the accomplishment of the different KPIs and quality requirements established by the Board and the maintenance plans |

ACCOUNTABILITIES & AUTHORITIES |
Key accountabilities Technical Support Function - Assures the technical support to the projects.
- Proposes innovative solutions and implements Services solutions in the maintenance projects.
- Analyses the technical performances of the systems and the efficiency of the maintenance plan and processes promoting action plans to improve them.
- Searches for improvement actions in maintenance operations performing engineering interface activities with Operations Engineers (depot support).
- Analyses failure criticality studies and uses RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) and other available methodologies to define and optimise the maintenance requirements tasks and intervals.
- Analyses and integrates data coming from Operations (Return on Experience).
Data Analyst Function - Support technically drivers and station located personnel.
- Support technically depot personnel in order to reduce repairing times.
- Logs events and incidences analysis to define/coordinate corrective actions to take.
- Creation of different reports (contractual/technical. Etc.) in order to explain incidents.
- Creation of analytics reports using available tools (Tableau ).
- Support the improvement of the diagnosis tool (HealthHub).
- Cooperate in the in the organization of the corrective maintenance both in depot and the stations.
- Creation and management of the different fleet retrofits in order to improve the reliability.
- Cooperation in the implementation and development of new tools to monitor new subsystems and improve the effectiveness of the tasks done in the depot.
- Verify the correct execution of the maintenance plan proposing improvements.
- Test different elect mechanical components.
- Update KPIs.
- Notify incidents that are likely to lead to Safety issues in the fleet.
- Quality Environment Safety and Health normative accomplishment.

Performance measurements: - QCD targets according to Project
- Project reliability / availability / cost targets
- Maintenance plan improvement

EXPERIENCE PREREQUISITES & REQUIRED COMPETENCES |
Educational Requirements |
Mandatory: - Engineering University Degree or B Tech (Elec Eng Mech C&I Computer Science)
| Desirable: - Railways technical knowledge on maintainability aspects
|
Experience |
Mandatory: - 2-3 years on Maintenance activities
- Data analysis capabilities
- Proficient in the use of MS Office
| Desirable: - Experience in a railway maintenance contract
- Working knowledge of safety management systems and risk assessment
|
Competencies & Skills - Very knowledgeable in data processing language
- Knowledge in BI tools
- English Fluent Mandatory.
- Attention to detail
- Desire to learn
- Effective professional interpersonal skills
| - Ability to work independently Self-motivated but strong team player.
- Innovative spirit.
- Problem solving capacity (technical and costs evaluation of a solution)
