Job Summary

SURVEYOR

45 50 hours per week between Monday to Friday
3 waters drainage civil and residential infrastructure projects

We are a locally owned company that continues to be a dominant force in the Waikato market. Specializing in construction of all types subdivisions commercial site works and overseeing contractors we offer you a variety to tick all the boxes.

As a surveyor you will be responsible for the set-out of Civil Projects from detailed plans provided by the addition you will at times survey and produce plans for construction and pricing. You will also support the Civil and Residential Construction team with volume calculations and site set outs.

Some of your day-to-day duties will include:

Assisting Civil Project Managers with set out requirements and survey queries quantities etc.
Using surveying instruments and equipment including GPS Robotic Total Stations lasers and 3D Machine Control
Taking and loading Machine Control Survey Data onto the machine computers
Field work including construction engineering topographical construction set out as builds.
Office work will include survey processing and calculations.
Assisting Quantity Surveyors Estimators and Management with variations and payment claims
Ensuring survey equipment is maintained calibrated and kept in good working order
Liaison with design engineers to ensure that survey information matches the designs being issued.

We are looking for:

Surveyors with a Surveying Qualification or relevant training and experience.
Surveyors who still enjoys time in the field and wants a mix of field and office time.
