As a key part of Neptune Pacific Direct Lines (NPDL) Container Repairs and Sales (CRS) division youll be at the forefront of ensuring our containers meet the highest industry standards. At CRS we provide comprehensive empty container services including storage repairs sales modifications and leasing. As a Shipping Container Surveyor at CRS you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our shipping containers.
What you will be doing:
- Conducting thorough inspections of shipping containers to identify damage and determine repair requirements.
- Producing accurate and efficient repair estimates in line with industry standards.
- Ensuring all repairs are completed in a cost-effective and timely manner to meet operational deadlines.
- Collaborating with our team to ensure seamless container operations.
Qualifications :
What you will bring to the table:
- Exceptional attention to detail ensuring every container is inspected with precision.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet depot targets and timelines.
- A methodical and sharp mind capable of generating accurate repair estimates.
- The ability to work independently with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
- Flexibility and reliability to adapt to the needs of the business.
- Ability to pass Ministry of Justice ACC checks and a drug and alcohol test.
- Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable but training will be provided
Hours of Work: Youll work a minimum of 40 hours per week Monday to Friday with shifts between 6:00 am 6:00 pm. We also offer the opportunity for overtime with great overtime rates at time and a half.
This is a full-time permanent role based in Auckland. You will have the right to live and work in New Zealand at the time of applying. The successful candidate may be subject to undergo a Police Check and/or Pre-Employment Drug Test.
