Foster Angels of Central Texas (FACT) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children in foster care. FACT is currently seeking a professional leader for the role of Program Manager.
Reporting to the Director of Programs the Program Manager will oversee all aspects of the Every Child Every Day addition they will oversee our annual Thom Farrell Fishing Trip and work closely with the Community Relations Manager during our annual drives which include Toys for Teens & Back to School. The Program Manager will work closely with the Director of Programs and the program team to ensure all aspects of the Every Child Every Day Program are executed. The Program Manager will serve as the spokesperson among CPS CASA and Child Placing Agencies (CPAs) to ensure they are aware of the resources available to them from Foster Angels. Additional opportunities include attending conferences speaking at roundtables and other meetings that are deemed appropriate.
Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of the Every Child Every Day Program
Oversees day-to-day operation of Every Child Every Day Program which includes responding approving and fulfilling requests in a timely manner.
Ensure proper tracking is in place and report program outcomes on a monthly basis for Director of Programs as well as a quarterly basis for board meetings
Prepare bimonthly financials for Executive Director
Manage and build relationships with CPS Child Placing Agencies CASA and other agencies involved in foster care
Attend outreach events to share the mission and work of FACT
Manage requests for Caseworker Appreciation events; attend and speak to DFPS teams about FACT
Plan and execute the annual Thom Farrell Fishing Trip in the spring
Provide content request trends stories and ideas to the communications team that will be utilized for emails social media and newsletters to support fundraising efforts.
Oversight of the communication with DFPS/PAL for Toys for Teens wish lists (October December) & school supply needs for Back to School Drive (June August)
Work with the Director of Programs and communications team regarding physical donations received and ensuring they are distributed in a timely manner.
Support team with other projects deemed as necessary
Support team with annual Shining Stars Luncheon and help make recommendations for Resilience Honoree
Required Knowledge & Skills:
Bachelors degree and minimum of three years relevant work experience
An interest in and commitment to Foster Angels mission to help children and youth in foster care
Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task on various projects
Strong interpersonal verbal & written communications skills
Ability to work independently while being a good team player
Effective time management able to meet deadlines & reliable
An interest in tracking data and reporting
Honest and trustworthy
Strong problem-solving priority-setting and decision-making skills
Other
Background check required; must have reliable transportation
Trauma-Informed training a plus but additional training will be provided upon hire
Some travel around Region 7 may be required
