Job Summary:

This role is responsible for supporting the Acquisitions & Integrations teams with financial operations related to agency earnouts and acquisition initiatives with a primary focus on assisting in the calculation analysis and execution of earnout payments. The position plays a critical role in ensuring that financial inputs are accurate payments are processed efficiently and on time and documentation is thorough and audit-ready. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments including Accounting M&A Tax Treasury and Payroll. This role also contributes to performance tracking process improvement and financial reporting while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of agency earnout templates including forecasting and detailed calculations.
  • Extract validate and interpret large datasets to support accurate and actionable reporting.
  • Prepare and submit funding requests to Treasury and Payroll teams in alignment with financial requirements.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication among Accounting M&A and Tax departments.
  • Develop track and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational efficiency and assess performance.
  • Proactively identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to the design and implementation of solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain a comprehensive audit trail with appropriate documentation to ensure transparency and compliance.
  • Uphold confidentiality and safeguard sensitive financial information in all operational activities.
  • Provide support for special projects strategic initiatives and ad-hoc analysis as needed
  • Provide prompt accurate courteous best in class service to partners insurance companies leadership team and all staff.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Highly organized with a commitment to maintaining data integrity documentation and audit compliance.
  • Discretion in handling confidential financial information.
  • Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset and proactive approach to process optimization.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelors degree or the recognized equivalent in education and experience required.
  • Minimum (3) three years of experience in an accounting auditing and/or financials analysis required.
  • Insurance brokerage/related industry accounting background preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and working with large datasets; experience with financial modeling and data validation required.
  • Familiarity with financial systems (e.g. NetSuite Workday SAP) and insurance GL systems (e.g. Applied Vertafore etc) is a plus.
