Job Description
Are you interested in joining the world of international storage and distribution of bulk liquids tankers terminals aquaculture and LNG Stolt-Nielsens fast growing Global Shared Service Center (GSSC) team in Manila is looking for aShip Operations Senior Associate.
Stolt-Nielsen Limited (SNL) is the specialist storage and transportation provider for bulk liquids: chemicals clean petroleum gases vegetable oils biofuels and oleochemicals. What you will be doing
A Ship Operations Senior Associate performs administrative duties related to the port activities cargo shipping operations and expenses. Responsible for the documentation data collection expense rebilling data input and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform necessary transactional processing in his/her assignment.
- Meet all the agreed KPIs and complete the tasks in accordance with the SLA.
- Keep updated on all developments and changes relevant to the assigned process.
- Participate in the meetings and share knowledge with the team especially in initiating and suggesting process improvements
- Handling queries from counterparts and customers (internal) and escalate any issues which needs immediate resolution to the Team Leader / Supervisor
- Ensure that the appropriate internal controls are in place and are in compliance with Stolt Nielsens Policies & Procedures with IFRS or the applicable GAAP and with relevant government or regulatory authorities.
- Other tasks which may be assigned by his/ her Supervisor/ Manager including projects to improve systems and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree
- Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in Shipping and Trading Industry. Preferably with experience in cargo documentation data gatherings rebilling and understanding of Contract of Affreightments (COA). Knowledge in cargo shipping operations ship port activities charter parties and other relevant area.
