Job Summary
As a Senior Project Manager at Citco you will be responsible for managing complex IT projects in a fast-paced financial institution environment. Your primary focus will be on ensuring successful delivery of project deliverables within the constraints of schedule scope and budget. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including development QA infrastructure and business units.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project management artifacts including project plans status reports risk and issue logs and software artifacts in JIRA Confluence and SharePoint.
- Establish and oversee Agile ceremonies including daily standups sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate effectively with all levels from senior management to project team members.
- Conduct regular meetings with project team members to track progress and provide status updates to key stakeholders.
- Liaise with external vendors to ensure optimal project delivery structures.
- Prioritize activities address risks/issues and manage resources efficiently across various departments.
- Build a collaborative and productive team environment driving accountability towards critical milestones and deadlines.
- Anticipate and address potential impediments to team delivery and administer metrics tracking.
Qualifications
About You
- 5 years managing complex IT projects focusing on Agile development in financial institutions.
- Bachelors in Computer Sciences Information Systems or equivalent
- Project management certifications (PMP Agile) preferred.
- Proficiency in JIRA Confluence and other project management tools
- Expertise in IT project management business analysis and change management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to lead and motivate colleagues
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Superior communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and related tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
