Are you passionate about technology automation and industrial networks and want to be part of a global company that is transforming industry with cutting-edge technology ABB is looking for aProject Technician Mid-Levelto join ourProcess Automationteam in theEnergy Industriesdivision in Brazil. If you have experience with operating systems Ethernet networks and industrial automation and are ready to take on field challenges and high-complexity projects this opportunity is for you!
Responsibilities:
Install and configure Windows operating systems on servers and workstations
Configure Ethernet networks switches routers and firewalls
Install and configure automation platforms such as ABB 800xA
Participate in commissioning and start-up of automation systems in the field
Support engineering and application teams in developing technical solutions
Requirements:
Technical education in Information Technology or Automation-related fields
Experience with Windows operating system configuration and Ethernet networks
Knowledge of virtualized environments (VMware)
Intermediate English (reading and writing)
Availability for frequent travel across the country and a valid category B drivers license
Differentials:
Knowledge of industrial automation systems DCS and PLC
Experience with hardware and server maintenance
Familiarity with FAT testing and technical training for clients
