Job Description

St. Davids Healthcare would like to recruit a practicing or new graduate robotic-trained general surgeon to join a private practice group in Austin TX.

Qualified Candidates:
Board certified and/or board eligible general surgeon to join group of 5 surgeons
Multi-specialty surgery group (general surgery/bariatric surgery/ orthopedic/hand and upper extremity)
New graduate or recently practicing providers accepted
Robotic certification highly recommended
Acute care and elective practice
Excellent support from intuitive surgical and current partners to proctor and build robotics learning curve
Both partners are intuitive surgical proctors and have completed approx. 4000 robotic operations combined
Bread and butter GS and advanced GS operations (bowel/colon/foregut)
Advanced hernia repairs (eTEP/TAR)
Call schedule 1:4 weekend call
No Breast surgery
Coverage at five facilities
Teaching opportunity for general surgery residents/medical students/PA students/partners are clinical teaching faculty at South Austin Medical Center
