Job Description
Location Details: Colombia remote
At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.
This is a remote position so youll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

Contribute to the development of GoDaddys eCommerce and SSO infrastructure and Kubernetes systems on a day-to-day basis you will be working on the team that designs writes tests and deploys the infrastructure and application management software for GoDaddys eCommerce applications. Expect to learn every day. Meet daily with team members to accomplish our goals.
What youll get to do...
- Develop expertise in Argo Workflows Kubernetes KNative Serverless EKS service mesh reverse proxies microservices containers and AWS technologies.
- Design build and maintain complex infrastructure workflows and GitOps application pipelines using tools such as Argo Workflows and Argo CD.
- Write and maintain code in multiple programming languages with a focus on Java to support robust infrastructure solutions.
- Collaborate with eCommerce feature teams to facilitate the release of new infrastructure and applications while establishing and promoting engineering standards and best practices.
- Contribute as an effective member of the infrastructure and GitOps team supporting team goals and continuous improvement.
Your experience should include...
- High proficiency with Java Bash git curl and Unix CLI.
- 4 years of experience working with Kubernetes (using Helm Kustomize or similar) and full lifecycle management of infrastructure as code.
- Experience delivering and supporting high-volume mission-critical production systems.
- 2 years of experience with continuous deployments (CD) and strong troubleshooting skills.
- Collaboration & Growth:Effective group communication skills and strong self-motivation to learn and improve.
You might also have...
- Experience with and strong understanding of the capabilities and usages for various storage technologies such as Cassandra Dynamo SQL systems and ElasticSearch.
- Real-world experience with security practices and various authentication technologies.
- Managed or built Kubernetes clusters.
- Experience with... in no particular order of importance: Cloudformation templates RDS ALBs NLBs Security Groups S3 Route53 ASM Akamai GTM Kibana Logstash Beats FluentD/Fluentbit Argo Workflows/CD/Rollout and certificate or secret rotation.
- Multi-region operations of production systems.
