Job Description

Responsibilities

Strategic Development & Improvement

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop best-in-class operations roadmaps
  • Create and implement global and regional operations strategies
  • Develop processes blueprints SOPs and training materials
  • Identify and incorporate internal and external best practices
  • Facilitate workshops to define business needs and identify performance improvement opportunities
  • Provide strategic advice on investments in systems tools and consultancy support

Initiative Implementation

  • Lead global rollout plans across the organization
  • Develop site and region-specific project roadmaps
  • Support optimization through coaching training and workshop facilitation
  • Manage energy efficiency projects
  • Conduct benchmarking in production energy use and sustainability initiatives

Performance Monitoring

  • Develop energy and sustainability dashboards
  • Create monitoring processes to track implementation and target achievement
  • Conduct process reviews and operational assessments
  • Measure and track financial benefits of projects
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement measures

Capability Building

  • Contribute to operational blueprint documents and training materials
  • Coach and advise site and operations managers on implementation
  • Screen and evaluate next-generation production systems
  • Partner with business unit managers to develop leading operations organizations

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering and/or Science with relevant Operations experience
  • Minimum 5 years relevant professional business experience in B2B environment ideally with strategic or Operations experience at managerial level
  • 5 years experience in chemical industry (production environment)
  • Strong knowledge of production systems energy efficiency and sustainability practices
  • Project management experience with larger initiatives
  • Continuous Improvement Background Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification and PMP certification would be preferred
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills Ability to influence without direct authority
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with innovative automation and digitalization approaches
  • Willingness to travel (around 25%-30%)
