Make an impact by
- Develop and execute strategies for expanding data center operations into new countries in alignment with RDCs overall business objectives in collaboration with the RDC strategy team.
- Oversee all aspects of expansion projects including scheduling and resource allocation to ensure successful implementation.
- Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities assess competition and evaluate regulatory landscapes in target countries.
- Establish and maintain relationships with government officials regulators and local authorities to navigate regulatory requirements and ensure compliance.
- Identify and engage with strategic partners such as local collaborators real estate developers and technology vendors to support expansion efforts.
- Prepare proposals and negotiate with partners vendors and government agencies to secure favorable terms and agreements.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and outcomes.
- Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders providing regular updates on business development progress.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with local regulations and company policies throughout the expansion process.
Skill for success
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical Electronic Mechanical or related field) Business or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in data centre operations and business strategy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools especially Word Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities; comfortable working with cross-cultural and regional teams.
- Ability to think critically solve problems and adapt to fast-changing environments.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
