Digital Sales Engineer

This role is essential to develop maintain and improve direct customer contacts and relationships in line with the defined Go to Market philosophy. Through engaging with our customers via digital and remote sales tools out of the office and working with other Sales Engineers in the team to deliver the companys ambitious growth targets you will support customers that do not require periodic face-to-face contact or prefer to interact through integrated digital platforms. The focus is on selling and promoting products and services concepts and solutions as offered by the Measurement Solutions Business Unit.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Support of an existing customer base
• Establishing expanding and acquiring new customers as the first point of contact for comprehensive customer support
• Regular support and advice for technical and commercial contacts
• Active offer tracking and project follow-up
• Preparing customer inquiries for processing by the internal sales team
• Monitoring and reporting of customer-specific key figures
• Development and maintenance of networks

• Commercial or technical bachelors degree or equivalent experience
• Proven sales / business development experiencein a commercial role
• Affinity towards technology
• CRM & MS Office tools
• Full professional use of English and Dutch language is required

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Matrix organization experience
• Experience in industrial automation environment; with a good knowledge of similar technical products (e.g. flow control pressure management valves actuators regulators) and understanding of similar industries (e.g. chemical petrochemical oil & gas power life science)
• Interest in energy efficiency and sustainability
