Overview
The Technology and Digital Officer EMEA North is a highly specialised professional with deep industry knowledge and extensive CIO or CTO experience. They serve as a pivotal resource in providing expert advice advanced technical solutions and strategic insights to support our customers strategies. This role requires a blend of technical acumen industry experience and the ability to communicate complex information effectively to diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level technical consultation to internal teams and customers.
- Stay current with industry trends technological advancements and regulatory developments to inform strategic decisions.
- Develop and implement technical solutions that meet the unique needs of our customers.
- Represent ServiceNow at Industry events increase mindshare.
- Play an active role in preparing and delivering customer EBCs.
Strategic Planning
- Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement across industry.
- Analyse industry data and develop strategic insights to help shape our customers strategic direction.
- Collaborate with CxOs to align technical solutions with business goals.
Training and Mentorship
- Offer training and development programs to enhance the technical skills of ServiceNow employees.
- Mentor technical staff fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications :
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in technology leadership roles (CIO / CTO) with a proven track record of technical leadership driving innovation and delivering technology solutions in a complex organisational environment.
- Experience working across various industries to bring a breadth of perspective and expertise to the role.
- Experience in a consulting or advisory role (desirable).

- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of current and emerging technologies including cloud computing cybersecurity data analytics and software development.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation and to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address technology-related challenges and opportunities.
- Compliance Knowledge: Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards related to technology and data security.
- Innovative Mindset: A forward-thinking innovative mindset with a passion for leveraging technology to drive business success.
- Change Management: Experience leading technology change initiatives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Networking: Strong professional network within the technology community.
- Mentoring: A commitment to mentoring and developing future technology leaders within the organisation.
