Job Summary
As a Java Developer will be responsible for developing high-quality backend systems and applications using Java and related technologies. Will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable maintainable and efficient code that powers mission-critical services and business operations.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Design develop and maintain Java-based applications and systems.
- Write clean efficient and well-documented code.
- Collaborate with product managers frontend developers and QA engineers to deliver high-quality software.
- Participate in system design and architectural decisions.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and web services.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
- Perform unit and integration testing to ensure software quality.
- Follow Agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices and technical documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of experience in Java development.
- Proficiency in Java (8 or above) and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot Spring MVC Spring Data).
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL Oracle or MongoDB).
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
