Detailed Description and Job Requirements:

Primary job duty is to support a team of sellers responsible for AI cloud infrastructure and related services in the JAPAC region across multiple verticals segments and government entities. Develops and implements a comprehensive strategy that improves Oracles opportunities across AI cloud infrastructure products and services. Manages and develops sales representatives including recruiting hiring and training new reps on the Oracle sales processes. Leverages the Oracle sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase local market share.

Sells and promotes the sales of Oracle products to customers including negotiating price other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale. Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the organization. Builds effective working relationships with extended field managers in the respective territory to develop joint account plans.

Develops and executes a territory plan to improve revenue. Generates and achieves monthly territory forecasts and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis. Manages escalation. Conducts weekly progress meetings with sales team.

Assists in the development of short- medium- and long-term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations important.



Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • 5 years of cloud sales management or comparable experience preferably with 1-2 years in the AI Infrastructure space.
  • Track record of selling complex solutions and an understanding of infrastructure deployments including lead times margin analysis and market demand.
  • Technical depth is strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of the Partner Ecosystem including but not limited to NVIDIA AMD Dell Lenovo Supermicro Deloitte Accenture etc.
  • Proven success selling to the in-region markets and creating a new business from the ground up.
  • Experience overachieving large quotas or a demonstrated success managing a P&L.
  • Ability to hire and train top talent.
  • Ability to negotiate price other concessions and terms and conditions.
  • Strong quantitative analytical and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Knowledge of the local AI Community and government space and a desire to build a new AI ecosystem with OCI at the center.
